With colours ranging from strong dark blue to slightly greenish blue this gemstone looks wonderfully in an array of different settings from rings to earrings. With its sea blue appearance, aquamarine was said to calm the waters and keep sailors safe whilst at sea. It is also thought to enhance the happiness of marriages.
